Hot Water Extraction -
commonly known as "Steam Cleaning":
Steam Cleaning is the popular
name given to the Carpet & Upholstery cleaning method "Hot Water
Extraction Cleaning". Our carpet cleaning technique is based on
the hot water extraction method. This method is recommended by
most carpet manufacturers. In fact, it is the only method
recommended by
Shaw Industries, the largest carpet manufacturer.
We use our cleaning system to inject hot water with a mild
cleaning agent into the carpet at high pressure to remove the
soil and spots from the fibers and then it is immediately
extracted using the powerful vacuum of the machine.
Under normal conditions the carpet is dry in just a few short
hours.
Water is heated to a preset temperature and mixed with a safe
and gentle cleaning agent. This solution is then gently forced
into the carpet pile and simultaneously vacuumed back out of the
carpet. During the process an electric brush-head is in constant
contact with the carpet to loosen any deep down or compacted
dirt.
Tile and Grout Cleaning
Step 1 - Visual inspection. We join you in inspecting to be sure that there are no damaged grout areas. Then we test to see if you have sealant on your grout.
Step 2 - Pre-spray the tile and grout with a special solutions made to break down grease and oils.
Step 3 - Agitate the prespray into the grout with a grout brush--if necessary
Step 4 - Rinse the pre-spray with high pressured, hot water through our truck mounted machine.
Step 5 - After cleaning we can either seal or permanently re-color your grout.
Upholstery
Cleaning:
Our upholstery cleaning technique
is based on the hot water extraction method.
Water is heated to a preset temperature and mixed with a safe
and gentle cleaning agent This solution is then gently forced
into the fabric and simultaneously vacuumed back out of the
fabric During the process a nylon brush is gently massaged into
the fabric to help loosen any deep down or compacted dirt.
Our cleaners are experienced, and fully trained for the use of
all kinds of stain removal techniques, carpet and upholstery
cleaning chemicals and machinery. Upholstery can be cleaned by
steam, foam, or dry cleaning. When the correct care is given, upholstered furnishings will last for many years. We can restore the beauty and extend the life of your favorite upholstered furniture. Oriental
rug cleaning:
We treat each Oriental and area
rug individually. Our technicians use state-of-the-art processes
to deep clean and revive your rug.
Orientals need special care, but they're worth it.
Hand Washing Procedure
We will remove dry loose soil and precondition your rug with
emulsifiers to loosen dirt and oils. We gently and thoroughly
hand wash and rinse your delicate rug with a pH-balanced
cleaning solution. Any spots on your rug are carefully removed
with spot removers. The rug is then rinsed again to remove any
spotting residues. After washing, a neutralizer is applied to
restore the original pH of your delicate rug to make it like
new.
Dry Cleaning Procedure
We use the Host dry cleaning procedure that is especially
formulated to clean natural fibers found in oriental rugs. The
product will loosen the soils and leave the fibers soft without
harming the dyes. Any spots on your rug are carefully removed
with spot removers. Fringe cleaning and texturizing can also be
done. Your rug is picked up and delivered at no additional
charge.

Problem
The problem with pet odor is that it can be much deeper than it first appears at first. Pet urine can easily soak through the backing of the carpet into the padding underneath. In more severe cases the urine can penetrate into the sub-floor beneath the padding. This creates a problem that is multi-layered. The urine also provides for the growth of bacteria. This in turn contributes to a worsening of the odor problem and can contribute to permanent color loss of the carpet fiber.
Treatment
To eliminate this problem the urine must be removed or neutralized from each of the layers effected. If the contamination is limited to only the face yarn of the carpet then the cleaning itself may effectively remove the odor. In more severe cases a urine neutralizer may be applied. Left untreated over a period of time pet odor can become absorbed into many of the porous materials in your home.
